Phal. amboinensis 'yellow' x self will yield fragrant star shaped flowers on compact stems. Stems can continue to flower for years. As one flower fades, another one is forming and a mature plant can be in almost constant flower. Flowering is heaviest during the summer season. Flowers will be like the picture, some more or less yellow, and some will be fuller in form. Flower size will be from 4.5 to 5.8 cm. I have high hopes for some real winners from this Taiwanese strain.
