Broughtonia sanguinea 'Star Splash' division of the original plant. This is a HUGE flower with a natural spread of up to 6.3 cm (pictured). This is the originator of the splashed Broughtonia sanguinea strain and is an excellent breeder. Pictured is the entire plant, flower close up and a picture against a ruler showing it's 6.3 cm spread. Pictured below is a fresh flower which is a little yellow, but will turn white. This is not what is being called aurea star splash. All pictures are from the exact plant being divided for sale. As you can see, it's vigorous and produces tall stems of flowers on often branching sprays. It will be shipped bare root and the division will be cut off just before shipping. I will ship with spike if possible.
