Blc. Waianae Leopard 'Ching Hua' HCC/AOS (C. Penny Kuroda x Blc. Peach Cobbler.) This clone produces dense clusters of waxy mustard yellow flowers with burgundy spotting and lip. The flowers are fragrant in bright light. While a number will bloom at this size, the real magnificence of this clone is exhibited when the plant is mature in a 6-7" pot in a couple of years. This is mainly a summer bloomer and the growth habit is very sturdy. It really takes the bifoliate habit of its grandparent leopoldii and its parent Penny Kuroda and likes to be repotted just as the roots are beginning to emerge from the base of the psuedobulb.
