Blc. Taiwan Ruby 'Taiyoung' is an absolutely gorgeous deep yellow. The flowers turn a more orangey gold as the flowers age. As you can see from the picture below. The lip is gorgeous: cherry red with a deep yellow throat. The flowers are held on tall, strong stems. I've been seeing 1-3 large flowers on first bloom plants in 4" pots. I expect to see very large flowers with improved form and substace as the plants mature. So far, the plants have been very vigorous growers. I've been told that this blooms twice a year. Both parents do for us and since this is such a fast grower, I believe this to be true.
