C. aclandiae

The Brazilian species Cattleya aclandiae is a thick, heavy substanced flower with a waxy texture that stays quite short. It usually grows 5-9" tall for us and produces 1-2 three to four inch flowers. It is heavily spotted and passes on heavy substance, spotting and compact growth habit when used for breeding. One of the parents of C. Lulu Land.
